On Saturday, the new center, located off Route 3, Exit 15, held a free Sports and Health Festival for the South Shore community. Employees of the new outpatient center gave tours of the facility and treated guests with a barbecue and free health seminars. Children got the opportunity to see what it was like to be an orthopedic surgeon and enjoyed playing sports and games and climbing a rock wall.

On the first floor, patients will be able to be treated by the South Shore Hospitals Diagnostic Imaging Services which include CT, MRI, and ultrasound, as well as laboratory services.
