Two Braintree Kids Hit By Car In Halifax
The two were struck while crossing the street, according to the Halifax Fire Department.

BRAINTREE, MA — Two kids from Braintree were taken to the hospital Friday after getting hit by a Jeep, fire officials said.
At around 6:35 p.m., the two kids, identified as a 10-year-old girl and her 8-year-old brother, were struck by the vehicle while walking their bikes across Route 106. The two were found minutes later and taken to South Shore Hospital, Captain Matt Cunningham

The driver of the Jeep remained at the scene and it is not believed that he was speeding.
Both kids suffered minor to moderate injuries which could have been more serious if not for the fact that they were wearing helmets.

The cause of the crash has not been determined, but the crash happened in a high-traffic area where people have been struck in the past.
