Braintree Firefighter Accused Of Threatening To Kill Woman: PD
The woman and the suspect were former romantic partners. She told police his behavior towards her became aggressive the last few months.

WHITMAN, MA — Police have put out a warrant for the arrest of a Braintree Fire lieutenant accused of threatening to kill a woman.
On Dec. 13, a woman called Whitman Police and told them Kevin MacAleese, 53, called threatening to kill the woman, police told the Patriot Ledger. When police arrived, the woman was still on the phone. Police said MacAleese was also threatening to beat up the woman's husband. Police told the Patriot Ledger the two were former romantic partners. According to the woman, MacAleese's behavior towards her was more aggressive over the past few months.
According to Whitman Police, MacAleese was pulled over that night and was involuntarily committed at Brockton Hospital. Police issued a restraining order. Since MacAleese's release, a warrant was issued. Beth Stone, a spokeswoman for the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office told the Patriot Ledger when MacAleese is arrested or turns himself in, the district attorney's office for the Cape and Islands will take the case. This is to avoid a potential conflict of interest, since MacAleese’s wife is a deputy police chief in Braintree, WFXT reported.
