'What Are You Going To Do?' Drunk Man Told Flight Staff: Report

An allegedly disorderly Holbrook man on a flight to Fort Myers was drunk and belligerent while flying, authorities say.

Terence Gallagher, 35, was arrested March 25 and charged with disorderly conduct, disorderly intoxication, and interfering with the operation of an aircraft. He is free on a $1,600 cash bond and is due in court April 10, according to the Lee County Sheriff's office.

A Lee County Port Authority Police Department report obtained by the Naples Daily News says that Gallagher caused a disturbance on the JetBlue flight from Boston to Fort Myers. When a flight attendant asked him to stop cursing, he allegedly replied, "What are you going to do? Turn this plane around and go back to Boston?"

Gallagher initially said he had a drink before boarding and another that he had nothing. He later said he had three beers before the flight and one in the air.
