• Brockton teen struck, killed crossing Route 44 in Raynham (enterprisenews.com) — An 18-year-old Brockton man was fatally struck while crossing Route 44 near Papa Gino's in Raynham early Tuesday morning, then taken to Boston Medical Center South in Brockton, where he was pronounced dead. A Taunton driver remained at the scene, and state and Raynham authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.
   

• Man summonsed to court in Holbrook hit-and-run that injured teen (wcvb.com) — A 66-year-old Brockton man has been summonsed to Quincy District Court after Holbrook police tied his Chrysler minivan to a September hit-and-run that injured a 15-year-old girl walking home from a bus stop. Investigators say community surveillance video, tips, and careful plate analysis helped them identify the Brockton driver, who faces a charge of leaving the scene of personal injury.
