BROOKLINE, MA — The police department is looking to identify a person it believes was involved in a shoplifting incident late last month at a business on Commonwealth Avenue.
The person was captured on surveillance footage on Wednesday, June 24, the reported day of the incident. According to police, the person is a man who was last seen wearing a white New York Yankees hat, a blue t-shirt, dark blue pants, white sneakers, and carrying a black backpack and gray duffel bag.
Community members with relevant information are being asked to contact detectives at 617-730-2244. The exact location where the incident took place has not been revealed. Police emphasized that the man is not considered wanted at this time.
