Argument in 7-Eleven Leads To Boxcutter Assault: Police
A customer allegedly injured a 7-Eleven clerk's head with a boxcutter.

BROOKLINE, MA - An angry customer is believed to have pulled a boxcutter on a 7-Eleven clerk Friday morning, police said.
Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 7-Eleven convenience store at 870 Commonwealth Ave. at about 7:20 a.m., police said.
Preliminary reports say Jimmy Gaston, 25, got into an argument with the clerk and displayed a box cutter, according to police. A struggle ensued, during which the clerk sustained injures to his head from the box cutter, police said.

Customers restrained Gaston until police arrived, police said.
The clerk was transported by Fallon Ambulance to Brigham and Woman’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Gaston faces the charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to police.
