Boston Fireworks 2018: How It Went

Check some of the scenes from the 2018 Boston firework watchers.

BOSTON, MA — If you pulled into work today with that Monday feeling, after all the festivities of July 4, you're not alone. It was classic America yesterday across Boston from the Esplanade to the BU Bridge as folks decked out in red, white and blue and headed down to the river to watch the fireworks any where they could.

Just about every bridge from Longfellow to the BU bridge to Western Ave bridge were draped in people trying to catch a glimpse. Didn't get the perfect view of the fireworks? Here's a bit of a recap.
Boston police said there weren’t any issues with crowds this year. About 120 people were treated during the Fourth of July celebration on the Esplanade and nine of them were taken to hospitals, police said.

And the fireworks? Didn't disappoint - except maybe when a bus drove by those on the BU bridge watching the action.
