Brookline Animal Hospital Evacuated Over Odor, People Feeling Sick
An investigation is underway to determine if there was a leak.

BROOKLINE, MA – An animal hospital in Brookline was evacuated Thursday after reports came in of an odor and people feeling sick.
According to Brookline police, reports first came in around 11 a.m. at VCA Animal Hospital on Brookline Avenue. Both people and animals were evacuated.
Hazmat teams are investigating the odor to determine if there was a gas or other chemical leak, police said.

Police closed Brookline Avenue at Washington Street while the incident was investigated.
