Brookline 'Best Suburb in America'

Brookline is the best suburb in America.

At least that’s according to Niche, which recently released its “Best Suburbs in America” survey.

Niche, which evaluates schools and neighborhoods, said it based its rankings on several factors, including livability, local schools, safety, jobs, community, and housing.

This is how Brookline was graded:

• Things to do: A+
• Commute: A+
• Education: A+
• Community: A+
• Housing: A
• Jobs: B
• Crime, safety: B
• Health/fitness: A+
• Outdoor activities: A+
• Weather: B

2. Piedmont, Calif.
3. Bronxville, N.Y.
4. Albany, Calif.
5. Scarsdale, N.Y.
6. Larchmont, N.Y.
