
BROOKLINE, MA – A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A billion dollars.
(That was Justin Timberlake in "The Social Network" -- for most of us, a million dollars would be very, very cool.)
But for the folks on the Forbes 400, a million dollars was a stepping stone on their way to becoming the richest in the country.

And in Massachusetts, there are six billionaires on the Fortune 400, including one from Brookline.
Robert Kraft, chairman and CEO of the Kraft Group and, of course, owner of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution, was ranked No. 102 in the country with a net worth of just over $3 billion.

Here's a look at the rest of the Bay State billionaires on the Fortune 400:
No. 29 - Abigail Johnson, worth $13.1 billion, is CEO and president of mutual fund behemoth Fidelity. She graduated from Hobart and William Smith and Harvard.
No. 68 - Edward Johnson, III, worth $7.1 billion, is the Chairman of Fidelity. He graduated from Harvard.
No. 94 - Jim Davis, worth $5.2 billion, owns shoe and athletic apparel company New Balance. He graduated from Middlebury College.
No. 214 - Amos Hostetter, Jr., worth $3.1 billion, "made a fortune in the 1990s as cable TV pioneer." He has degrees from Amherst and Harvard.
No. 374 - Phillip Ragon, worth $1.8 billion, owns Cambridge-based InterSystems, which Forbes says sells software enabling hospitals and banks to analyze big data. Ragon graduated from nearby MIT.
