Brookline Election Results: Who won?

Unofficial results show that the School Committee race was extra tight in Brookline

BROOKLINE, MA - The votes are in. The School Committee race is a tight one: An unofficial tally hot off the presses at the Town Clerk's office has teachers union and coalition candidate Suzanne Federspiel and incumbent Michael Glover (also endorsed by a long list of names) winning seats easily while Julie Schreiner-Oldham appears to have taken third place by one vote.

Tuesday, May 2 some 5,873 registered voters in Brookline went to the polls - that's 16.2 percent of the registered voters. That's no small feat considering the last municipal vote was largely unopposed. This year there are contested elections in all three major races and in most precincts where Town Meeting members were running, especially precincts 15, 9 and 7. See below for the break down and the chart from the Town Clerk.
