You first, no you first: A 23-year-old Summer Street resident was arrested on July 5 after police pulled over his car for making an illegal left turn. An officer walked up to the car, touched it and got what he said was an aggressive response from the driver. The officer then asked for the driver's license and registration, to which the driver asked why he was pulled over. The officer told the man he'd inform him after he saw the license and registration. To which there was a short stand off, where the man set his license and registration in his lap and asked again why he'd been pulled over and the officer told him if he didn't submit his info he would be subject to arrest. Eventually the driver gave his info the police officer who then told him why he was pulled over. The officer then radioed dispatch the license number, and he was informed the man's license was suspended earlier in the year. The police officer then arrested the man and charged him with driving on a suspended license, refusing to produce a license and registration and making an illegal left turn.
