Brookline Police Catch Bank Robbery Suspect

Brookline police on Friday said they arrested a suspect accused of robbing two banks in town earlier this week.

The suspect robbed the first bank Tuesday at 2:18 p.m. and the second one at 2:47 p.m. In both cases, the suspect showed a note demanding money. No weapon was shown, police said.

The suspect was described as a white male standing about 5 feet, 5 inches and in his early 20s. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black hat.

His identity was not immediately available.
