Brookline Police: Man Arrested for OUI, Hockey Net Stolen from a Yard

Tuesday, April 19
- A vehicle was reported broken into on Boylston Street; a window was smashed and money was missing. Officers took a report.
- A shoplifting was reported on Harvard Street. Officers have a description of the suspect and the matter is under investigation.
- A package was reported stolen from a Kent Street residence.
Thursday, April 21
- A bike theft was reported on Middlesex Road. It had reportedly been left unlocked and propped against a building. A report was taken.

- A man was arrested at a traffic stop at the intersection of Harvard and Green streets. He has been charged with operating after license revocation, operating under the influence of liquor and for violating the open container law.
Sunday, April 24
- Mail was reported stolen from a residence on Heath Street. Envelopes were found ripped open with their contents missing. The crime is believed to have occurred during the late morning or early afternoon.
- A hockey net was reported stolen from a yard on Strathmore Road. The theft is believed to have occurred at some point during the previous week.
