'Brookline Woman of the Year' To Be Honored Wednesday

BROOKLINE, MA - Rene Feuerman will be recognized as 2016's "Brookline Woman of the Year" at a ceremony Wednesday.

Feuerman, director of the Brookline Food Pantry, was named the recipient of the award last week.

The pantry operates out of two locations in Brookline; the St. Paul's site is open Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday from 3-6 p.m., and Saturday from 1-4 p.m. The Edgmont Street pantry operates every Thursday from 3-7 p.m.

Feuerman's work will be celebrated at the 24th Annual Women Who Inspire Us ceremony at the Brookline Main Library. The 12 winners of the "A Woman Who Inspires Me" essay contest from 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade will also be honored.

The ceremony will be held Wednesday, March 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the library's Hunneman Hall.
