Brookline's Butcherie Eyes Reopening After Fire: Report
The owners of the kosher grocery store and market are reportedly aiming to reopen the shop on Wednesday.

Brookline, MA – The Butcherie on Harvard Street is set to reopen next week after a two-alarm fire caused significant damage to the shop and its merchandise on Tuesday.
The Brookline TAB reported that the kosher market and grocery store is eyeing a Wednesday opening, but service will be limited while the shop awaits a health inspector's approval.
The fire began shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in a rear storage area of The Butcherie, according to the Brookline TAB.

The fire was quickly knocked down and no injuries were reported. There was, however, significant damage done to the store and its goods.
Michael Sullivan, acting chief of operations for the Brookline Fire Department, gave the Boston Globe a preliminary estimate of $400,000 to $500,000 in damage on Tuesday.

Among the damage was the loss of two kitchens, which will have to be replaced, the Brookline TAB reported.
Starting Tuesday, July 19, Cholov Yisrael milk and Sterns bread will be available at Café Eilat, according to a post on The Butcherie's Facebook page.
