Car Break-ins Reported, Shoplifters Arrested: Last Week in Crime
Crime log from Wednesday, May 4 to Sunday, May 8. All reports are from the Brookline Police Blog.

Wednesday, May 4
- 11:07 a.m. - A bike was reported stolen from a residence on Abbotsford Road. It had been locked to a porch and is believed to have gone missing sometime during the previous evening.
- 3:27 p.m. - Officers arrested a shoplifting suspect on Harvard Street. The manager of the business confronted the suspect as they tried to leave and recovered the items. Police arrested the suspect at the store.
Thursday, May 5
- 10:31 a.m. - A man was arrested for driving without being duly license after a traffic stop near Larz Anderson Park.
- 8:12 p.m. - An unlocked vehicle was broken into on Linden Street. The vehicle was rummaged through, but no items were taken. The break-in is thought to have occurred during the previous evening.
- 9:19 p.m. - A second breaking and entering of a motor vehicle was reported on Linden Street. The vehicle was also left unlocked, and change was taken.

- 8:29 a.m. - A man was arrested for driving without being duly licensed after a traffic stop at the intersection of Princeton Road and Newton Street.
Saturday, May 7
- 12:16 p.m. - Two suspects were arrested on outstanding warrants on Harvard Street. The suspects had been stopped and questioned for suspicious activity at a local business when officers learned of the warrants
Sunday, May 8

- A shoplifting was reported on Commonwealth Avenue. Officers were given a description of the suspect and an investigation is underway.
