Child Falls Out Of 4th Floor Window In Brookline
The 5-year-old child has been taken to Boston Children's Hospital.
BROOKLINE, MA — A 5-year-old child has been taken to Boston Children's Hospital after falling out a fourth floor window in the 1371 block of Beacon Street, police said.
At a press conference this evening Lt. Phil Harrington described the child's injuries as serious.
The little girl, who lives in the building, was playing with friends in a friend's apartment before she fell, according to police.

Police said there were adults in the apartment when the girl fell. They also said there was a screen on the window but that screen was found on the cement patio along with the girl below.
Update: Police announced Monday night that the little girl passed away.
