Child Hit By Car In Brookline
The parents of the young boy took him to the hospital to get checked out but police said he only suffered minor injuries.

BROOKLINE, MA — A small child was hit by a car at Beacon Street and Winthrop Road Friday afternoon, sending him to the hospital with non life threatening injuries, police said.
The young child and his family were reportedly crossing Beacon Street on their way to Winthrop Road and stepped out into the cross walk when the car closest to them stopped. The car in the other lane did not stop fast enough and injured the boy, according to police.
His parents took him to Children's Hospital to have his leg or foot checked out for minor injuries. But he seemed OK. The driver and the family were shaken up, according to police.
