They are excerpts taken from the public police log and represent a portion of what kinds of calls the police respond to. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Friday, June 23
Was it from a nest?: A woman called to report someone threw eggs on their car while they were parked in a lot on Terrace Road. Police noted there was no crime.

Bike theft: A Verndale Street resident reported a bike missing from her porch around 4:30 p.m.
Shoplifters: Someone from a business on Comm Ave reported two men came into the store one had a black rolling car and attempted to sake some items. They left headed toward Boston.

Careful with your identity: Someone walked into the station reporting various attempts were made by someone that was not him to establish credit cards in his name.
Drunk lady: Someone reported a drunk lady was hanging out at the CVS on Harvard Street at 10: 14 p.m.
Saturday, June 24
Really drunk: A Babcock Street resident called to report her husband was heavily intoxicated. Police helped get him to a hospital around midnight.
Batty: A Green Street resident called to report a bat in their home. But they weren't exposed so police advised them on how to escort it out.
Loud: Several calls came in after midnight about loud parties, including on WEstbourn Terrace, Upland Road and at the Lawton Playground.
Unpleasant: A woman called police to report a man accused her of hitting his parked car just outside of Brother's Restaurant on Harvard. She said he was being unpleasant.
Sunday, June 25
Dog saves the day: Someone on Stedman Street called to report she saw several teens inside and around her garage attempting to steal bicycles around 4:50 p.m.. After seeing them, she opened her door and her dog ran out and startled the men who she described as having buns on their heads. She said the hopped on BMX style bicycles excluding one of them that had a basket on the back of it. Police said they found some men matching her description near the corner of Beacon and Carlton streets. The Stedman Street resident identified the teens who were then taken to the police station and then released to their parents' custody. One was found to be in possession of red bolt cutters which were placed into evidence and the bicycles were placed into bulk property for safekeeping until their legal owners could be determined. The juveniles will be summonsed to court for Trespassing and Attempted Larceny from a Building.
Tree down: Someone called to report large tree branches had fallen on Cramond Road.
Suspicious water stop: A Browne Street woman called to report a man was banging on her door asking for water.
