What: 60th Anniversary Benefit Concert featuring
- The Boston Cello Quartet –
- Founded in 2010 by four cellists of the BSO
- Dubbed “The groovy BSO chamber ensemble” by the Boston Globe
- Performs a wide repertoire ranging from classical music to jazz, tango, contemporary works and even comic medleys
- Debut concert at Tanglewood in July 2010 was described by The Berkshire Eagle as “The best Prelude Concert at Ozawa Hall since the hall was built” (in 1994).

- Recent repertoire sung by Brookline High School’s honors choir includes the spiritual My Soul's Been Anchored in the Lord, Lassus’s Mon coeur se recommande a vous, Gershwin’s But Not for Me, a Manhattan Transfer arrangement of Tuxedo Junction, Mozart's celebratory Regina Coeli and the Beatles' lyrical Blackbird.
