Multi-media artist Myrna Balk and photographer Andrea Rosenthal will explore issues of womens' freedom and its lack in the exhibition Freedom and Enslavement.
The exhibition's theme rises from the artists' shared desire to create art that confronts societal problems and women's experience. Rosenthal's photos address issues of addiction and body image, through staged self-portraits. Balk's sculptures and works on paper contain abstract symbols of constraint, abuse and anxiety.
