Guest Lecturer Eamon Earls: Wachusett Reservoir - Keystone Of The Boston Water System

Eamon Earls, author of Wachusett, will discuss the stories behind the making of the Wachusett Reservoir. Built from 1895-1908, the Wachusett Reservoir was one of the largest civil engineering projects in New England, resulting in Boston's first truly modern water supply system. Earls will tell the stories of this engineering marvel, as well as the human dramas that went along with it.
