In celebration of our new name, Metropolitan Chorale explores the meaning of old and new with exceptional works that take inspiration from ancient and venerated masterpieces. Works by Monteverdi, Gesualdo, Casals, Lauridsen, Swingle and Stucky. Featuring Ola Gjeilo’s Unicornis Captivatur, Arvo Pärt’s Te Deum and the world premiere of a commissioned work by Tom Vignieri.
