If you've ever been interested in seed bead weaving but were unsure of where to begin, this four-week series is the perfect way to get started! We will complete three wearable woven projects; the fourth and final session will cover how to add embellishments to the Russian Rope Stitch Bangles as well as providing time to troubleshoot and/or finish any unfinished projects from the series.
Week 1: Daisy Chain for Grown-Ups
Daisy chain gets an adult makeover in this customizable project. Class time will be used to show you how to make a pair of woven earrings, but the technique can be used to create pendants, bib necklaces, cuff bracelets, and more. In this first session, we will also introduce basic techniques and terms that will be used throughout the series.
Week 2: Brick Stitch Bracelet
Weave a simple brick stitch bracelet that makes a great introduction to a versatile stitch.

Week 3: Russian Rope Stitch Bangle
Learn an unusual but uncomplicated stitch for weaving these beautiful, stackable bangles. A button or focal bead serves as an elegant clasp. Note: Class time will be used to teach the technique, but weaving the length necessary for a bracelet will take most participants longer than the allotted two hours. Feel free to stick around and use our space to finish, or complete it at home in preparation for the final session.
Week 4: Bangle Embellishments/Project Completion
Bring back your woven bangles for the last session of the series; we will go over how to add a button or bead clasp, as well as optional seed bead embellishments. We'll also help with troubleshooting and finishing of any unfinished projects from throughout the series.
