Free Teen Music Workshop for Teens Who Have Lost Someone Close

Sometimes words alone are not enough to express what it’s like to have someone in your life die. Care Dimensions will hold Grief Beats, a free musical workshop for teens who have experienced the death of someone close on Thursday, February 16 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Wheelock College’s Earl Center, 180 The Riverway in Boston. In this workshop teens will have a chance to create some of their own music to help them express themselves in a creative and supportive space and join other teens to learn to use music in many different ways. A complimentary dinner will be served. This program is made possible through a Grief Reach grant from the New York Life Foundation. Advanced registration is required.
