Gibbs Street Residents Pay Fine After Loud Party, Stolen Bike, Attempted Car Break-In: Brookline Police Log

• Police responded to a report of an attempted breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.
• Officers were observing traffic along Harvard and Green Street and noticed a vehicle make an illegal U-turn. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle after suspension.

Sat., May 16

• Police responded to a report of a loud party on Gibbs Street. The residents paid a fine.
• Police responded to a report of a stolen bike. This matter is still under investigation.
• An officer was conducting a random query on a vehicle on Pearl Street. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle after suspension.
