BROOKLINE, MA — This weekend from Friday, July 14 to Sunday, July 16, the golf course reported a bag of clubs missing, a mom reported stolen children's bikes and a chipmunk wanted to be an eye doc.All of the following is from Brookline Police log or online blog. Friday, July 14
Suspicious: Someone called to report a man appearing to be hiding behind the library on Pleasant Street around 10:02 a.m. A doctor's office on School Street called to report it looked like someone tried to get into the building overnight, too.

Alvin!!: The Boston Eye Group called for advice about a chipmunk inside their office.
Birds: Someone from the Animal Rescue League called to report a bird was injured and sitting on the ground near the corner of Ogden Road and and West Roxbury Parkway.

Graffiti: Someone reported graffiti on a building on Longwood Avenue and someone else reported some on a building on Marshal Street.
Stolen Purse?: A woman at the Stop and shop on Harvard Street reported she thought her purse was stolen while she was in the store.
Who are you?: A George Lane resident called at 11:53 a.m. to report two men in a silver hatchback tried to take a package from a porch nearby. She described one of them as wearing a white t-shirt, the other wearing a blue sweatshirt.
Sunday, July 16
Too barkey: A Beaconsfield resident called to report that for the past several days a neighbor's dog was parking consistently.
Drugs?: Someone on Babcock Street called to report someone in the building was doing drugs and there was a small child around.
Malicious: A White Place resident came into the station to report several incidents of malicious damage to his car.
They don't just walk off: A Golf Pro at the Putterham Meadows Golf Course reported a bag of clubs was taken from the shop.
Think of the girls: A Chestnut Street resident called at 8:24 p.m. to report two girls bikes were taken from in front of her home sometime in the past two hours.
