The Brookline Arts Center is pleased to present Gravity. Pulling from our everyday conflicts to expanding our understanding of the universe, the word brings to mind weight and weightlessness, the laws of physics and the complexities of the human experience. Looking for work that explores the connection between these extremes, the BAC invited artists of all media residing in the United States to submit works inspired by gravity.

Gravity was juried by Katherine French, Gallery Director at Catamount Arts. Selected artists include Carol Baum, Mia Cross, Stephanie Davis, Rosalyn Driscoll, Gary Duehr, Eleanor Elkin, Nicholas Fernandez, Yolanda Fernandez-Shebeko, Chris Gans, Arthur Grau, Nicole Gsell, Bredt Handy, Margaret Hunt, Edward Krent, Evan Larson-Voltz, Laura Louise Lester, Pauline Lim, C.J. Lori, Carolyn E. Lovit, Stephanie Monell, Marcus Parsons, J. Pouwels, Gerri Rachins, Jay Rogers, Elaine Sapochetti, Rich Small, Irene Stapleford and Coral Woodbury.
