Hammond Residential Announces Corporate Sponsorship of ArtsBrookline
ArtsBrookline is a continuous showcase of arts events in Brookline taking place from April through June

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. (April 22, 2016) - Saul B. Cohen, President of Hammond Residential Real Estate, is pleased to announce that Hammond is once again the lead corporate sponsor for the third annual ArtsBrookline: A Season of Arts, a continuous showcase of arts events in Brookline taking place from April through June.
ArtsBrookline is a collaboration of Brookline Open Studios, Coolidge Corner Arts Festival, the Brookline Commission for the Arts, and the Brookline Economic Development Division. ArtsBrookline will showcase the many talented resources of the Brookline arts community, bringing them together to support and promote one another. Events will take place throughout town, and new events are added daily to the ArtsBrookline website at www.ArtsBrookline.org.
Long-standing events such as the Brookline Open Studios weekend, which takes place from April 30-May 1 and the annual Coolidge Corner Arts Festival on June 4 will be returning, as well as the ever-popular “Before I Die Wall” in May. New events include Brookline Porchfest on June 4 and the Celebrate Music Series at Brookline Main Library throughout April, May, and June. Both events will feature a wide array of musical genres, such as gypsy jazz, rock, and pop. Additionally, several outdoor FenceArt galleries will feature the work of both student and adult artists on fences surrounding developments in Brookline.

Other features this year include “live” opera and ballet at the Coolidge Corner Theater, concerts at the Waterworks Museum, performances by chamber ensembles and orchestras such as the Brookline Symphony, art exhibits, poetry readings, Teen Stock, and a Japanese Blossom festival, to name but a few.
Hammond is well-known throughout Brookline for its dedication to bringing free chamber music concerts to the community through the Hammond Performing Arts Series, which is now entering its 21st year.

In addition to its corporate sponsorship, Hammond agents and staff are also participating in many ArtsBrookline festivities. Agent Lea Cohen is the founder of ArtsBrookline and serves on the organizing committee alongside colleague Julie Krasker. Agent Carolyn Lovit will be displaying her art at Brookline Open Studios and at Brick Wall Kitchen from April 2 – April 30. Lastly, agent Tracy Clark will be performing on June 11 at 2:00 p.m. with 2Chicks during the Celebrate Music Series, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Brookline Library and held over several weekends at the library.
