Heroin In The CVS Parking Lot: Brookline Arrest Logs

Police said a woman may have been attempting to shoot up heroin In the CVS parking lot near Cypress recently, a man kicked cops, more:

BROOKLINE, MA — Thursday two people were arrested, one on several default warrants and the other for disorderly person, which turned into resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. Back in October, a woman was arrested after police saw what they determined was an attempt to shoot up with heroin in the CVS parking lot on Cypress Street. Arrests do not imply conviction. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Thursday, November 9

Dancing in the middle of the road: John Cotti, 33, of Dorchester, was arrested at 2:01 a.m. after police found him in the middle of the road in Coolidge Corner at one point dancing, waving at cars and reaching out with both hands to touch passing cars as he walked back and forth between the sidewalk to the middle of the road stopping cars. After asking him to stay out of the street and offering him a ride some place he refused and when they force ably moved the man from the roadway, he kicked and spat on them. They arrested him for Assault and battery, dangerous weapon (shod foot) 2 counts, Assault and battery on a public official, Disorderly person, Resisting arrest and Possession of cocaine (class B).

Probation violation: Eric Hines, 26, Brookline, was arrested at 1:40 p.m. for probation violations connected to several crimes including firearms violations. He had four default warrants out for his arrest from the Roxbury District Court for Assault with a deadly weapon, assault and battery, threats to commit a crime and motor vehicle related charges.

Heroin use in the parking lot?: Vanessa Dorr, 32, of Plymouth was arrested at 6:54 p.m. and charged with three counts of possession of heroin, one count of having Suboxone, and operating a car after revocation. This came after police were called to the parking lot of a CVS near the corner of Washington and Cypress streets for a report that someone was acting strange in the lot. Police said when they looked into the car they saw Dorr injecting some liquid from a spoon into a syringe and arrested her and the other person in the car after some questioning and a search of the car. Maxwell M. Goggin was charged with one count of possession of a Class A Drug (Heroin) and One count of being present where heroin is knowingly kept.
