Jim Porcella to perform at Boylston Place at Chestnut Hill

Musician Jim Porcella will perform his program “A Tribute to the Greatest Generation” at Boylston Place at Chestnut Hill on Monday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. Porcella is an musician and vocalist who leads the swing band Bombay Jim and the Swinging Sapphires. In “A Tribute to the Greatest Generation,” Porcella will perform a wide variety of songs from the Big Band Era, including numbers by Glen Miller, Harry James and Jimmy Dorsey.
