Mayor Menino Funeral Procession: Live Updates
Boston's longest-serving mayor died last week at the age of 71.

A funeral procession for former Boston Mayor Thomas Menino will depart from Faneuil Hall in Boston Monday morning and pass through several locations of significance in and around the city.
The procession is set to begin at 10:45 a.m. and follow a final route before arriving at Most Precious Blood Parish in Hyde Park for a private funeral.

Menino, who served as Boston’s mayor from 1993 until 2013, died last Thursday at the age of 71 after a battle with cancer. On Sunday, the public flocked to Faneuil Hall to pay their respects, as Menino lay in state, accompanied by an honor guard of his former staff members.
Monday’s funeral mass will begin at 12 p.m. at Most Precious Blood Parish in Hyde Park. A large screen will be available on City Hall Plaza for members of the public who wish to view the funeral mass.

The procession will pass through a number of significant locations throughout the city, according to officials, including:
- Boston City Hall
- Parkman House
- Boston University/Kenmore Square
- Fenway Park
- Dudley Square
- Grove Hall
- Franklin Park
- Bowdoin and Geneva
- Mattapan Library
- Roslindale Square
