More Bike Thefts, Shoplifting, Wallet Raided: Last Week in Crime

Monday, May 9

• 9:10 a.m. - A vehicle was broken into on Walnut Street and change was taken. The car was unlocked at the time of the reported incident, which is believed to have taken place during the previous afternoon. Police took a report.

Wednesday, May 11

• 12:56 a.m. - A man was arrested at a traffic stop at Horace James Circle for an existing warrant.
• 10:57 a.m. - A resident reported that several items were stolen from a wallet earlier in May at an office at Brookline Place. The incident is under investigation.

Friday, May 13

• 10:43 a.m. - A resident reported lawn furniture taken from a driveway on Payson Road at some point during the previous day.
• 12:16 p.m. - A bicycle was reported stolen from the back yard of a residence on Toxteth Street. The incident is believed to have occurred during the previous evening.

• 10:07 a.m. - A woman was arrested at a traffic stop on St. Paul Street for a pre-existing warrant.
• 2:36 p.m. - A shoplifting occurred at a local business on Harvard Street. Officers took a description of a possible suspect.
