New Brookline Parking Meter Rates Began Monday
According to the Brookline DPW's Transportation Division, new rates on Brookline Avenue and Chapel Street took effect yesterday.

BROOKLINE, MA – The Brookline Department of Public Work's Transportation Division announced on Twitter Friday that new parking meter rates would take effect this week on two roads in town.
According the department, meters on Brookline Avenue now cost $1.25 per hour and the charge for parking on Chapel Street is $2.
The meters themselves only accept quarters and remain operational until 8 p.m., the DPW said.
