Police: Credit Card, Cell Phone and Stop Sign Theft

Excerpts from the Brookline police log.

January 22:

At 3:45 p.m. a resident on Mason Terrace reported the theft of multiple credit cards. The victim said the credit cards were taken from their home earlier this month and charges were made on them.

At 9:02 p.m., Brookline Police officers assisted the Newton Police in transporting multiple shoplifting suspects to their department after they were detained on Boylston Street in Newton.

January 23:

At 12:55 p.m., a caller reported that their vehicle was damaged while parked in a garage on Harvard Street. Police observed pry marks on the vehicle.

January 24:

At 10:03 a.m., a newly installed stop sign was reported stolen from intersection of High Street and Allerton Street.

At 2:56 p.m. a resident reported their cell phone had been stolen.
