Police Witness Fight, Stabbing At Brighton Gas Station
Two state troopers happened to see a fight and then arrested a Brookline man in connection with a stabbing at a gas station Sunday morning.

BOSTON, MA — Sunday morning as State Troopers were driving by they saw three men fighting and one man get stabbed at a gas station in Brighton near the Brookline border.
After turning around and heading back to the gas station police said the three men stopped fighting and the troopers saw that a 25-year-old man had been stabbed during the brawl.
State Police arrested Ruoding Zhang, 39, of Brookline for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. No word on the other man police said was involved in the fight. Boston EMS transported the 25-year-old man who was stabbed to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for treatment, State Police said in a statement.

How it happened:
At around 1:42 a.m. Trooper Brendan Donovan and Trooper Matthew Clark, were on patrol as they passed the Packard's Corner Speedway gas station, located at Brighton Avenue and Linden Street in Brighton, when they saw what appeared to be three men fighting in the Speedway parking lot.

The troopers turned around, pulled into the gas station lot. That's when the fight stopped, according to police. Boston Police officers, detectives and crime scene investigators arrived on scene next.
While helping Boston Police with a search of the area, Donovan found a knife that is believed to be the weapon that was used in the altercation.
No further information is currently available, according to state police.
