MBTA To Remove Trees, Branches Along Green Line In Newton
Expect shuttle buses to replace the trains for a couple days.
NEWTON, MA —Buses will replace Green Line D Branch service between Reservoir and Newton Highlands Stations from 9 a.m. to 3:p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19 and Wednesday, Sept. 20, as workers trim trees along the track.
Because of the tree removal work, shuttle buses will replace trains between Reservoir and Newton Highlands Stations, according to the MBTA. Reservoir, Chestnut Hill, Newton Centre and Newton Highlands will all be affected.
