Scotties Facial Tissues Welcomes Homeless Into Permanent Housing With Comfort Care Packs

Today, 100 residents in Brookline received gifts of comfort and care thanks to the Scotties Facial Tissue Company

Today was a great day for the Pine Street Inn’s permanent supportive housing in Brookline! Burlington-based Scotties Facial Tissues brought “comfort care packs” for a 100 residents including the 30 tenants living at the 55-57 Beals Street location. The care packs included a queen-sized fleece blanket, warm slipper socks, a decorative mug with hot cocoa and marshmallows, and of course boxes of Scotties! The Pine Street Inn serves close to 2,000 people a day…many of whom are homeless, or in the case of these Brookline residents, were previously homeless.

Maria, who has lived in her beautiful Brookline home for the last three months was previously homeless. She has made her home her own by beautifully decorating it in the style of her native home, Columbia. She is eager to put the Scotties blanket to use this winter!!!
