Swedish Car Day held at Brookline museum

Ray Ciccolo's Village Automotive Groups hosted the 20th annual Swedish Car Day at Brookline's Larz Anderson Auto Museum.

Boston Volvo Cars and Danvers Volvo Cars, part of Ray Ciccolo’s Village Automotive Group, hosted Swedish Car Day at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline on Sunday, August 25th. Now in its 20th year, this iconic event for Saab and Volvo aficionados has grown from humble beginnings to a national event. The lawn was packed with guests excited to see the more than 275 cars from up and down the East Coast registered in hopes of winning “Best in Show.” In the museum, Anthony Morano of Volvo Cars North American showcased the new 2020 Volvo V60 Cross Country, a new crossover vehicle combining sport with SUV. Always a crowd favorite, the charity raffle raised more than $18,000 to support the Saab Heritage Museum in Sturgis, SD, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to preserve the history of Saab cars.
