Teen Arrested, Now Brookline Police Want To Return Stolen Items

Brookline police arrested a teen last night in connection with car break ins and want to return what he allegedly stole.

BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline Police arrested a teen last night and charged him with breaking into cars near the Washington and School street area. And now they're trying to return what he allegedly took to their rightful owners.

"If you notice items missing from your car such as change or other small items of value, please call to report it and we hopefully can reunite you with your valuables," said police in a statement.

Police said they're still looking into whether this teen is involved in the rash of nearly a dozen car break ins late last week that targeted cars that had been left unlocked.
