Traffic Advisory: West Roxbury Parkway To Get Repaved
Watch for extra traffic in the area.

BROOKLINE, MA — The West Roxbury Parkway will get a little bit slower for a week. So you might want to check your schedule. Beginning Wednesday, June 6, a couple traffic lanes in two sections of the parkway will be closed as crews work on repaving the roadway.
The Department of Conservation and Recreation will have pavement crews out in two sections of the parkway situated in Brookline starting on Wednesday, June 6 through Tuesday, June 12.
They'll be working from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. milling and paving but officials expect traffic delays as they have to close lanes for the work.

The first section will be between Grove Street and Veterans of Foreign Wars Parkway, and the second section will be between Newton Street and Hammond Street (just before the Horace James Circle).
Traffic patterns will be clearly marked and a police detail will be on site.
