Burlington Approves Two New Liquor Licenses

The Yard House and a new Indian license got the final key ingredient for their impending openings.

BURLINGTON, MA -- Selectmen approved the transfer of a liquor license from Chili's on Middlesex Turnpike to the Yard House. The board also approved occupancy and a liquor license for the Treasury, a 124-seat Indian restaurant opening in Wayside Commons in a space that has been vacant since Bonefish Grill closed in January 2017.

Yard House, a chain operated by Darden, plans to tear down the existing Chili and build a new, 12,000-square-foot space. The restaurant is not expected to open until 2020, as Darden also plans to improve parking and traffic flow on the property.

Devendra Patil said her new Indian restaurant would offer a high-end dining experience. The Treasury is expected to open by February.
