Rumors Confirmed: Yard House Coming To Burlington

BURLINGTON, MA -- Following months of speculation that Yard House would take over the space on Middlesex Turnpike previously occupied by Chili's, the casual chain known for its beer list confirmed the rumors this week. Yard House filed a special permit application permit with the Burlington Planning Board earlier this month.

Yard House plans to demolish the Chili's building and build a new restaurant on the site, according to its application. At 12,066 square feet, the new building would be nearly 50 percent bigger than the 8,408 Chilis, which closed in May.
