BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington will have a four way-contest for two School Committee seats in this year's town election, April 4. Burlington Patch asked candidates to answer questions about their campaigns and will be publishing candidate profiles over the coming weeks.
Adam Senesi is one of four candidates for the two School Committee seats. Her opponents are Katherine Bond, Carl Foss and incumbent Stephen Nelson. Senesi works in sales and marketing and is the parent of two school-aged children. Senesi is a Town Meeting Member.

Why are you seeking elective office?
The Schools are important. We have important infrastructure needs to address in which I'm familiar.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Burlington faces challenges of building new schools, and those challenges will be met. Students will leave our schools ready to compete in the global marketplace by demanding the highest standards in science, technology, engineering and math. Special education students will receive support. All students and parents will feel included. Those are the standards I’ll pursue on School Committee.
