Why are you seeking elective office?

The Schools are important. We have important infrastructure needs to address in which I'm familiar.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Burlington faces challenges of building new schools, and those challenges will be met. Students will leave our schools ready to compete in the global marketplace by demanding the highest standards in science, technology, engineering and math. Special education students will receive support. All students and parents will feel included. Those are the standards I’ll pursue on School Committee.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Experience

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

There's always room for improvement when it comes to our children.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I plan to be accessible and accountable.
