Over 50 File To Run In Burlington Annual Town Election
The moderator, assessor, and Board of Selectman races are uncontested, but four are vying for two school committee seats.
BURLINGTON, MA — The filing deadline for the annual Burlington town election passed Friday, and over fifty residents put their names forward for various positions, mostly as town meeting members. In the April 4 election, Town Moderator Bill Beyer and Selectman Jim Tigges are unopposed, but there are four candidates for two open School Committee seats. Candidates have until March 3 to withdraw.
