Burlington Coronavirus Update: 173 Confirmed Cases
Data released by the state Wednesday shows that more than six out of every 1,000 residents have tested positive for the virus.
BURLINGTON, MA — One hundred seventy-three Burlington residents have tested positive for the new coronavirus, as of Wednesday afternoon, according to data released by the state. The confirmed infection rate is 625.83 per 100,000 residents.
The total cases increased by 32 over the last week, from 131 cases reported by the state April 22. The state data does not include recoveries versus active cases.
The Burlington case count does not include patients at Lahey Hospital.
