Burlington Girls' Lax Loses to Lexington for Second Time this Season

Lexington Seniors Dominate as Red Devils Fall 17-6.

The girls’ lacrosse team fell for the second time this season to Lexington High School, this time 17-6. The Red Devils were almost tripled Tuesday afternoon on the road at Lincoln Field against the strength of Lexington’s seniors during the Minutemen’s senior day.

Burlington was down three goals to none in the first two minutes as Lexington senior captain Diana Hines, senior Amanda Bouchard and senior captain Meghan McNabb sliced in shots in the crease. The three seniors rammed their way through Burlington’s defense as far as to practically stand in the net with their shots.

The Red Devils were only able to come within two goals, 3-1, during the entire game, from Burlington’s first score at 22:51 in the first.
