The Burlington Soccer Club has just returned home from Reykjavik, Iceland where they participated in the Rey Cup International Football Tournament. The Annual tournament is played every year during the last week of July. The Rey Cup hosts more than 1,500 players with teams coming from as far away as Chile, Kenya and the United States. There are also several teams coming from Scandinavia, the UK and Iceland.

Burlington Soccer Club is made up of boys ages 14 - 16, from Burlington, Billerica and Chelmsford. This is the club’s second year participating in this tournament. This year the team has returned home from the Rey Cup with a very respectable record of 3 wins, 2 ties, and 1 loss, leaving them in 3rd place in their group and 5th place overall. The club hopes to return to the Rey Cup in 2020, with their eyes on making it to the championship game.
